Cody was born in Pineville to his parents, William “Bill” Darvis Collins and Kim Marie Collins. He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter Destiny Collins, his mother Kim Hall Collins, and his brothers Jefferey Hall and Brian Collins.
He leaves behind a family who will forever cherish his memory, including his children—Blane Collins, Ethan Gillette, Remington Carter, Emma Collins, Madison Carter, and Caitlyn Jowers. He is also survived by his father Bill Collins; his brothers Patrick Panzica (Melony) and Casey Collins (Lacy); and his sisters Rebecca Walker and Melissa Perry (Jimmy). To them, Cody was more than a relative—he was a source of laughter, guidance, and unwavering love.
Known affectionately as “Uncle Fat Duck,” Cody had a personality that could light up any room. His loud laugh, playful humor, and free-spirited outlook on life made him unforgettable to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He loved the outdoors, often spending time fishing and hunting, enjoying the quiet beauty of nature. Old country music and the thrill of riding motorcycles down open roads also brought him joy.
Cody worked hard throughout his life, dedicating himself to construction and tree-cutting work. He took pride in using his hands and never shied away from hard labor. Above all, he cherished being a father and spending time with his family.
In his final chapter, Cody bravely fought a difficult battle with cancer. Even during that struggle, his courage and spirit remained strong. Funeral services celebrating his life will be held on March 18, 2026, at Gallagher Funeral Home, followed by burial at Malone Cemetery in Ball.
Though his journey on earth has ended, Cody’s love, laughter, and spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who mourn his passing. 🕊️
